The objectives of the program is to impart knowledge of computer and programming logic environment in ECE to acquire knowledge of advanced Electronics engineering applications in different business and industry sectors thus to equip students with the technical knowledge required for a professional to handle multitasking and multiprogramming situations and to assess and develop electronics based solutions.
The minimum entry requirements for admission to a bachelor’s degree program are—
(a) For direct entry—
(i) Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with 5 credits; and
(ii) At least 2 principal passes at Uganda Advances Certificate of Education (UACE)
obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent with Mathematics or Physics as one of the Principal Pass.
(b) For mature age entry
(i) 25 years of age and above; and
(ii) Must have passed mature age entry examinations with 50% mark and above.
